The Euganean Hills - ancient extinct volcanoes and UNESCO world biodiversity reserve

The Euganean Hills, of volcanic origin, rise in the heart of Veneto. This natural wonder has become a UNESCO Reserve thanks to the extraordinary biodiversity it hosts. The fertile soil and unique microclimate make them the ideal place for viticulture, giving life to fine wines.
Hill and volcanic soil - influence on vine and wine

The hilly climate, with marked temperature variations, and the volcanic soil, rich in minerals, are key elements for the quality of the wine. These characteristics favor an optimal maturation of the grapes, enhancing complex aromas and flavors. The wines produced in these conditions are distinguished by structure, elegance and uniqueness.
Cortelà and Vo' - land of viticulture

We are in Cortelà, a hilly hamlet belonging to the municipality of Vo', on the western side of the Euganean Hills. The municipality of Vo' is known as the home of wine and trachyte... The winemaking tradition has its roots in its fertile volcanic soils, ideal for the production of fine wines. Trachyte, a precious local stone, has also made Vo' famous in architecture.

Padua - the city of the three without

Padua, known as the “city of the three withouts”, fascinates for its history and culture. Its liveliness did much to its being a historic university city, and its identity is linked to the “café without doors” (the Pedrocchi), the “meadow without grass” (Prato della Valle) and the “saint without a name” (Sant'Antonio).
